  1. Welcome to LearnKey's CD-ROM Training. 
  2. This CD-ROM will help guide you through the powerful
  3. features of this software.

  6. SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:
  7.  
  8. LearnKey CD-ROMs have an auto play feature. Training may also be 
  9. accessed by going to;
  10.  
  11. Start button > Programs > LearnKey > User Log In - Registration
  12.  
  13. The Single User installations will take 
  14. approximately 20 megabytes of hard disk space. 
  15. >>>> WINDOWS 95, 98 & NT 4.0 <<<<

  17. 1. Start Microsoft Windows 95/98
  18. 2. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM Drive
  19. 3. Choose Run from the Start button in Windows 95, 98, or Windows NT 4.0.
  20. 4. Type  D:\setup.exe (If necessary, substitute D 
  21.    with the correct letter for your CD-ROM drive.)
  22. 5. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT APPEAR ON THE 
  23.    SCREEN.

  25. REGISTRATION:
  26.  
  27. The first thing you will see is the Registration page. 
  28. After the user information has been recorded, click the 
  29. Add button. This will add the new user to the database. 
  30. Each field on this page must be filled out in order to 
  31. add the new user. Remember your username and password, 
  32. you will be required to enter this on the 
  33. Registration/Login Page each time you train.

  36. NAVIGATION:
  37.  
  38. The DIRECTORY button provides an index of the CD. Each section 
  39. of the material is organized in chapters, with subheadings. 
  40. You can click on any topic and be taken directly to its training.
  41.  
  42.  
  43. The CHALLENGE button provides a list in interactive training. 
  44. Each of the listed headings provides a link to a lesson window 
  45. that tests what you have learned. Each challenge session includes 
  46. thorough, step-by-step exercises and a variety of learning tools.

  49. The GLOSSARY button provides an alphabetical list of terms 
  50. covered by the author in the training CD. If you click on a 
  51. term, a definition screen will appear explaining the term 
  52. in question.

  55. The INTERACT button allows you, during the instruction, 
  56. to interact with the actual software that you are training 
  57. on. Selecting the Interact button from the Movie page will 
  58. minimize the LearnKey Application and allow you to work 
  59. simultaneously with the application and training.

  62. The TEST button advances you to the Pre-test / Post-test Page 
  63. where you can make an Exam Selection. This is where you want to 
  64. get started on your training and skills assessment.

  67. The HELP button takes you to a set of HTML pages that provide 
  68. topics and their definition.

  71. The EXIT button will allow you to exit the CD.
  72.

  74. The MINIMIZE button will shrink the window down to an icon 
  75. and title bar on your Windows task bar. It can be restored  
  76. by clicking on its icon on the Windows task bar. This button 
  77. appears on all pages and can be used from anywhere in the program.

  80. The CLOSE (X) button will close or exit the program. This button 
  81. appears on all pages and can be used from anywhere in the program.

  84. WINDOW/SCREEN FEATURE:
  85.  
  86. You can Move the Window around on your screen with a click, 
  87. and drag the background area of the window to any location 
  88. on you screen. This feature works on all pages and can be 
  89. used from anywhere in the program.

  92. COLOR DRIVER RECOMMENDATION:
  93.  
  94. This program will not run unless you are in high color 
  95. or better resolution. Your system's graphics card may 
  96. come with a utility to automatically change the color 
  97. setting.
